Spiritual Sabotage
Preacher: Gary Bulley Series: Guest Preacher Scripture: Exodus 19:1–25
In Exodus 19-20, God calls the Israelites to Mount Sinai, inviting them into a profound relationship with Him. This passage highlights the difference between knowing about God and experiencing Him directly. The Israelites, gripped by fear and misunderstanding, chose to keep their distance, missing the opportunity to encounter God's presence. In contrast, Moses overcame his fears, surrendered control, and repented of his sins, allowing him to experience God's glory and receive the Ten Commandments. This story challenges us to reflect on our own fears, areas of control, and unconfessed sins, urging us to move from a superficial faith to a deep, transformative relationship with God.
