Made to Worship: Creation & Fall

Worship is a core element of our faith, extending beyond singing and Sunday services to encompass our entire lives. It is our response to God's character and actions, recognizing His omnipotence, wisdom, and goodness. Genesis illustrates God's power in creation, His wisdom in the universe's design, and His goodness in providing for humanity. However, the fall of man in Genesis 3 shows how sin distorts our worship, leading to idolatry. True worship, as Jesus revealed to the Samaritan woman, is about worshiping God in spirit and truth. This week, reflect on what occupies your thoughts and time, and commit to redirecting your worship towards God, dethroning any idols in your life.
